I recently found a blog with several followers.. The Big Purse Dump.. I was impressed mostly by the contents and how many women would like to share. These women being Mothers as far as I can see, of small children, and the contents were not only funny but also surprising..
I worked a stadium security post at the Sports Field in the City one year, it was volunteer to raise money for the school band. I had a chance to see what most women carry to the game, usually in small hand bags, you would be surprised what one thinks important to carry around to sporting events... Pens, make up, money, combs and Id. The others just threw a blanket and snacks in a large bag or back pack and a wallet and they were set for the day.
All this being said, I just want to share here what I can carry in one Purse. I am a commuter on Public Transportation, I am away from home all day and spend over an hour each way to work. I find that I only need a few basic things to keep me occupied for this time, I do need to play it safe, being that I am alone for some time and do a minimum of one transfer each way. So to keep myself entertained daily I do carry a shoulder bag that weighs just five pounds.....
Now that I look inside I see I have a second small purse that fits within this one which is only to organize, and allows me to grab and go when traveling light...
I will attempt to give you an idea of what is here... by organizing it ....
From the top left down I have my1. Kindle 2. small purse for personal items 3. Wallet 4. Coin purse 5. buss pass 6. work ID
Top center: 7. Music player and ear phones 8. Battery charger 9. phone 10. Eye glasses 11. comb
Top right 12. Hair tie 13. pack of gum 14. mints 15. contacts 16. lip gloss 17. nail file 18. Kleenex 19. Maise 20. knife Bottom right Several area buss schedules.
Not as clever as some of the Moms that have things you could never guess, yet I do think it is impressive and I try not to flash to many electronics at one time, although looking up something on the phone while reading in the Kindle comes in handy.. All in a day of commuting in the Big City.....
